What Bean Counter stores
Bean Counter stores the coffee entries you log, price snapshots, goals, settings, reminders, and achievement progress needed to provide the app. This information is stored on your device and, when iCloud is available, in your private iCloud database.
iCloud and sync
Sync uses Apple's CloudKit service and your Apple Account. Bean Counter does not create a separate account, run its own database server, or provide your private coffee history to other users.
Photos permission
If you choose to save an achievement badge, Bean Counter requests add-only access to your Photos library. The permission is used only to save the image you selected. Bean Counter does not read your photo library.
Backups and sharing
When you export a backup or share a badge, you choose the destination through Apple's system sharing tools. Bean Counter does not receive a copy of files or content you choose to share.
Support requests
If you contact Bean Counter through the support form, you may provide your email address and message. This information is used only to respond to your request. The form is provided through Google Forms and is subject to Google's privacy practices.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Bean Counter does not include advertising SDKs, third-party analytics SDKs, or cross-app tracking. It does not sell personal information.
Your controls
You can edit or delete individual coffees, reset logged coffees, disable reminders, export a backup, and control iCloud or Photos permission in device settings. Resetting logged coffees removes those synced records from your other devices using the same private iCloud data.
